Common Questions about Water Quality

Mountain Water Company works hard to provide our customers with clean, safe water. We’re proud to tell you that there have been no contaminants detected that exceed any federal or state drinking water standards. While our water quality report lists the test results for our community supply, we cannot, however, check each home connected to our system. While water quality from different homes’ taps is usually similar, variations can result from factors such as pipe corrosion in home plumbing. If you are concerned about the water in your house or neighborhood please call us at (406) 721-5570.
